I’m using my mom’s credit card to order groceries. Will I be able to do this even if my moms not here?

Monday Dec 21, 2009

Alright my mom is in the hospital, she’s not gonna be out for awhile. There’s no food here and I don’t have a car right now, and Safeway delivers. Do you think I would be able to order from them even though my mom isn’t here, like if I explained the situation or something? or will they not even ask for my ID so I just shouldn’t bring it up?
Im over 18, but I don’t have any money right now so this is my only choice, I hate this damn economy!!

Thank you

its not legal unless you are authorised to use the card. if you get away with it make sure you pay the bill in full when it shows up.

all you have to do is say that you are an authorized signer

unless you have Power of Attorney over your mother’s estate or are her trustee, it is fraud. you’re over 18 yrs old & you always have choices as an adult.
