Red Pickled Ginger to buy online..please help?

I am in such a rural area, I could attempt to drive 4 hours away to bigger grocery stores taking a chance of finding the ginger or not so I am left to try to buy it online. I am looking for the Red..NOT PINK ginger that is cut julienne..I ate it in Okinawa and loved it. Does ANYONE know where i can find this online..?? I have found whole red pickled ginger but thagt’s a last resort.
If you are in the USA, you can buy benishoga (beni=red, shoga=ginger) online at Japan Super. They carry whole, sliced and slivered red ginger, as well as the pink and white ones. Look under the Sushi category, then under Ginger.
They don’t have any photos of the products (as they are waiting on the new product graphics, I was told) but I buy it from them and I know that this is what you are looking for. They come in small plastic cups.
* 2 lb fresh ginger root
* 3 cups vinegar
* 2 cups sugar
* 2 tsps salt
PREPARATION:
Wash fresh ginger root and rub off skin. Slice the ginger thinly and salt them. Leave salted ginger slices in a bowl for one hour. Dry the ginger slices with paper towels and put them in a sterilized container/jar.
Mix rice vinegar and sugar in a pan and bring to a boil. Pour the hot mixture of vinegar and sugar over the ginger slices. Add red food color. Cover the jar and store it in the refrigerator.
*Makes about 2 cups
