I think this is an awesome idea! I’ve thought about this myself too because EVERYONE hates going to the grocery store! And EVERYONE needs groceries.
But, there is a down side, the way the economy is, people are more willing to suffer through ordeals like that to save a buck.Your best market would probably be the elderly. I know that I wouldn’t pay anyone to go get my groceries for me. But that’s cause I’m 23.
P.S. 10 bucks to bring in the groceries and put them away is kinda steep, considering it only takes a few minutes to do. Maybe 5 would be a better deal.
Keep thinking about it, and I’m sure you’ll find your niche.

I could see seniors using this service depending on how old they are, but i would give a "senior discount" so to speak. Most seniors are tight with their money and don't want to pay 70 dollars for 50 dollars of groceries.

In my town, the supermarket offers this service. I don't know what they charge because I never did it. If I could afford to do it, I certainly would. As far as putting groceries away, I don't know. That means people's house keys, property, theft suspicions, etc. Would you have to be insured for that? In case they sued you for stolen property?

I would definately pay someone to do that, if i was any of those things you said. I think it is a lovely idea, especially for the elder population and new moms.

But.. I think the $20 is a little too much if the bill is under $100. Maybe you could make if 15 or something, it sounds more appealing.. Otherwise you could start on a low price, and raise it when your business gets more popular..

But all in all, i love the idea, and i would definately consider your firm if i was a new mom, old, or any of the other things.

I used to do that when i was on welfare cause i didnt have a car and it was easier to deliver it, i think they charged me $3 but that was a while ago, now i dont buy groceries, i live in a resort and get free meals in the dining rm.
