is this a rip off for a grocery delivery service?
Posted by admin | Under Grocery Delivery Services Monday Feb 15, 2010a sales man came to my door asking me to sign up to this program called "aussie farmers direct".
$25 for a box of vegetables for a couple
plus all the other food you want
I added it up for all the basics and it is going to cost roughly $26 per week for food each
Is that expensive?
also it gives free delivery and it supports the australian economy!
i use and also have a lot of friends using the service and they love it. go to the website www.aussiefarmers.com.au and check it out. it’s about supporting the local farmers, no contract, if you use it and dont like it you can stop without any issue. think you’ll find the quality superior to the supermarkets, the cost is also good and at the end of the day everything purchased is australian owned and produced, something the supermarkets can’t guarantee…
It is always advisable to think that if an offer sounds too good to be true then it probably is too good to be true.
You should take some references on this salesman and the organisation he represents. Contact your local trading standards to see if they know of the organisation and they will know if there are any complaints posted against them.
Be very careful about singing up for anything on the doorstep as you might be losing your basic rights.
In a nut shell caution.
