Seeming as how the prize wouldn't have been able to be claimed with the exception of your friend signing-rightfully it is hers, if she wanted it sounds like she could legally win the claim under the reason that her name was forged in order to claim the prize. Forgery is a federal offense and you wouldn't want to become involved in that-people will sue over anything now-a-days so in the future you should take that into consideration especially when a prize that isn't rightfully yours is involved.
