I was leaning towards melting some Velveeta, and either putting in some salsa and black olives, or puttting in the can of chili I bought. Serving both with the appropriate chips.
Taco Bell is really near, I might do that instead.

Polish Mistakes (I didn’t name it!)

1lb hamburger
1lb breakfast sausage. (hot or not too taste)
1lb Velveeta cheese
Cocktail rye (or rye bred cut in 1/4’s)

Brown meats. Drain grease, turn off heat. Cut Velveeta in cubes then stir into hot meat until melted. Spread some of this on ryes. Put on cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree over for about 10 minutes or until edges of rye brown.

This can be made ahead with "goop" in a plastic container. Make up when ready.

OR cool goop. Make a layer of Polish mistakes on parchment or tin foil on cookie sheet. Put another layer of paper/foil on top. Make another layer of them, as many as you need. Wrap it all up with foil or plastic wrap, refrigerate. Cook one layer at a time on cookie sheet.

I never knew alot about "high quality" dog foods until I just got a new dog recently & started reading on the ‘net about it – I was shocked to see that most articles ranking top dog foods said that there is not ONE SINGLE dog food brand sold at common discount & grocery stores that is good for your dog. Most reviews seem to recommend brands like Canidae, Orijen, Innova, etc. I understand lower quality dog foods are full of fillers, grains, by-products, artificial flavors/colors, chemicals, preservatives, etc. It just boggles my mind there is not even ONE good brand that is highly recomended sold in our normal stores where we shop – have to go to pet stores, feed supplies, vets offices, and other specialty suppliers to get any of these premium brands ? I guess what bothers me too is why are we forced to go out and spend so much money on the premium brands? Is there no compromise of decent quality dry dog food at a reasonable price ?

See, I don’t have a huge problem with going to a specialty shop to get my dog the best food for her. I’ve also found that I spend less money because I’m feeding less, cleaning up less poop, and having fewer vet visits than those who feed junk foods.

We will be in a Cab so i do not want to go too far off the beaten path but am willing to go a little ways out just because the last time we went the liquor store near the strip they wanted $75 for a bottle of Grey Goose that i only pay $30 for here at home. Do groceries stores sell hard liquor?

The best prices in town are at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino.
This is on Flamingo about 2 miles or less west of the Bellagio Hotel.

This is what I think:
The people are very helpful at this store. They have motorized carts for the disabled and they let you drive them to your vehicle, load your groceries, and take the motorized cart back into the store for you. If you get into to store and there is no motorized cart available there is a chair to sit on and they go find you a motorized cart and bring it to you. These have been my experiences. Also they have a manager-type lady that keeps things going swiftly and works very hard along with everyone else. She does not just delegate as many manager-types do, she is out there with the rest of the employees working on whatever needs to be done.

Yes, the main Firelake is a good store.

The one in Tecumseh (the "baby firelake" isn’t nearly as good, but ever since the Pottawatomi bought the only grocery store building in town and turned it into a casino school, I guess this protects their investment and their market position as the only grocery store in a town of 7,000 people.

Sometimes fast food or groceries have promo deals to theme parks. Anyone know of any for Busch Gardens Tampa?

Florida residents get discounts online. After a quarter of the year passes, the prices for all year drop. Also, if you are from out of town, check with your hotel; Some offer buy an adult and get a child free. You could also look on e-bay.

My friend says my ethics are flawed because I don’t agree with her.. What’s your ethical opinion? She loan her grocery store discount card to other person and the other person won a gift while using the card. The other person had to sign as my friend name since she was using her card. My friend feel that the gift is hers not the other person who she allowed to use her card and who made the actual purchase. Who do you ethically believe the gift belong to?

Oh that is a tough one. I would say the gift belongs to the person who made the purchase. But I also think it was wrong of that person to sign her friends name like that.

I personally would hand the gift over if it was going to ruin a friend ship. Or maybe it is something they can share or split. But no gift is worth causing problems between friends like this. Both of them need to realize that and get over it.
