Is Super Target a good place for groceries?

Friday Mar 26, 2010

I usually go to the Super Walmart to buy my groceries but Ive never bought any from Target. I would do comparison shopping online, but they never show the prices of groceries online and was wondering should I make the drive when I leave work today.

Well is kinda t same

I price shop a lot, and the Super Wal-Mart is always cheaper. Although Target is good when you’re there and don’t want to waste gas driving to the WM.

Compare shopping ads, but usually Target is more expensive in general even for the same stuff.

For fresh produce shop at Kroger/Smiths or even Safeway, and for dry goods shop at Wal-mart.

I absolutely love Super target, they are a little more expensive then walmart for groceries but the quality is superior. I would atleast make a trip and check it out!

It’s been my experience that Wal-Mart is generally cheaper than Target. Cheaper still are the "No-Name-Brand" stores like Save-A-Lot and ALDI if they are available in your area. You can even find decent prices on some food products at the "Everythings $1.00" stores like "Dollar Tree", etc. I recently wne4t to the dollar store and loaded up on canned goods and off brand soda’s. To my surprise they had Arizona brand tea there for just $1.00 for a 32 oz. bottle! (I LOVE that stuff!) Compared to the 24 oz can or 20 oz plastic bottle that is usually retailed for a dollar it’s a great deal. Almost twice the amount for the same price.
