I don't go to WalMart. They are a poor citizen of the community. They hire illegals and pay them substandard wages. They are the defendants in the biggest class action lawsuit in history for not promoting women. Walmart does not allow it's employees to organize or participate in collective bargaining. When building a new store WalMart does not co-operate with local governments in land use planning or traffic control concerns.

I live in the Baltimore, MD area. We can't have Wal-Mart Super Centers because Giant (our main food store) has an agreement with them not to build them.

Sometimes I do. If I have to go there for some other reason and I also need groceries, I will buy them at Wal Mart. I usually go to Kroger though.

walmart can be at times convenient but that place is like a time warp… When I go with my mom we always leave 2-3 hours later. I prefer to do my grocery shopping at a local grocery store…..they have better deals on food sometimes

Grocery prices are based on location, and on line sales are not profitable and not all walmarts are super walmarts. Besides, if they advertised them online or in their sales papers, then their competition would know how low they have to go. They have to match the prices of the other stores (Lowest Price guarantee) and they don’t want people to know what papers are lower by comparitively shopping. Get your sales papers from the other stores and go buy your groceries in Walmart at the lower price.

I don't go to WalMart, unless I absolutely HAVE to. I get my groceries at the local grocery store. And for everything else, I'm a Target shopper. I even own stock in Target.

they have good deals on non parishables, but thier produce sucks...so not on big shoping trips
