what are current problems associated with grocery delivery and what could be done to improve it. moreso what are the best Grocery Delivery Services offering that the others are not.
The coverage offered limits residents to one, or sometimes no choices, which creates a monopoly of pricing and offerings. Those that I have used have produced superior results, but grocery shopping is quite a "touchy-feely" endeavor, and shoppers, especially more mature ones, may never feel they have gotten the best price, selection, or item unless they can actually put their hands on it.
Its just that our local sainsburys isnt very big, and some of the things im ordering off the website i know for a fact they dont stock in that store. I really cant be bothered ordering everything then not getting half of it (or them sending me substitutes).

My grandma lives in Michigan in St Clair County and I want to send her some extra groceries. Some candy, special coffee and some foods i know she really likes.

TO know the the reason how e marketing of grocery could be a success in india.
No No No Because :
1. Mostly bought by housewives who are not net savvy
2. Grocery in India is not branded and hence difficult to sell on-line
3. Provisions as it is called in India is highly subjective and the housewife has to see the rice , wheat or pulses before they buy.
4. After purchase the lady want an option to return if she does not like the taste etc.
5. Branded packages goods are more likely to sell on-line
6. The relationship between the housewife and the kirana store runs for decades and quick change of loyalty is unlikely.
